Scout is a very friendly but shy beagle. She is often afraid of meeting new people and is not usually eager to socialize with strangers. However, when Scout met Ester in 2020, she ran towards her, jumped, and wagged her tail in an unusual way, as if she knew JR (her favorite human) had found the missing piece to complete the pack. Some may say, Scout felt in love with Ester at first sight (or rather at first sniff) and never looked back. If you know anything about beagles, then you should know that beagles thrive in packs and with Ester by their side, the three of them quickly became the perfect little family.

While we enjoy our quiet life together, we also enjoy traveling, getting to know new places and trying new adventures. Together, we have visited more than 10 states and have crossed the Pacific twice, once to Japan in 2023, and the second time to Hawaii in 2024. During our Hawaii trip, JR asked the question while watching the sunrise at 6:13 AM HST in Kailua Beach. This was Ester's first time watching the sunrise at the beach and it turned out to be the most amazing sunrise ever (see picture above taken by Ester). It is no surprise that this time around, we have decided to cross the Atlantic to say "I DO" in Spain in 2026 surrounded by the beach, the mountains, and most importantly our loved ones.

Even though we are absolutely thrilled about our wedding in Spain, that means our pack is not complete as Scout cannot travel for more than 10 hours. For that reason, we have decided to include Scout in as many aspects of our wedding as it is possible. We hope you enjoyed Scout's intro to our story!

We are so excited you are here and cannot wait to celebrate with you in April 2026. We truly hope you can make it, however, if you are unable to make it, Scout will be conducting interviews for the best candidate to take care of her and give her treats while we are away.
